Calling all members! Bring your gloves and boots to join us at the club house on Saturday Nov. 2nd at 9 a.m. for the annual fall cleaning and club house closing.

Join us for the BYC Fall Banquet taking place on Saturday, November 9th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rachael's Restaurant, 54 Westchester Drive, Youngstown, Ohio 44515. Allen S. Chrusciel
Member age 76, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He is the loving husband of 53 years to Christine Chrusciel; cherished father to Jennifer Ries (David), Allison Prucha (Michael), Nicole Riffie (Ryan), and Matthew (Megan) Chrusciel; adored grandpa of Nathan, Joshua, Sammy, and Maryla Prucha, and Avery Ries; beloved brother of Dan Chrusciel. Allen is the son of the late Stanley and Tillie Chrusciel. Al loved sailing at the Berlin Yacht Club (BYC), with his "crew" Andy, where he and Chris would spend Sundays in the summers.
Cynthia Ann Hayek
Wife of Benjamin Hayek, age 71 of Hubbard, passed away peacefully at home on Friday September 20, 2024. Cynthia was born June 18, 1953 in Monroeville, PA. a daughter of Wesley & Cecil Walker Midgley. She was a graduate of Boardman High School, and later received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Youngstown State University. Cynthia was a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse, later a Critical Care Nurse for many years. She also was a school nurse for Hubbard Schools.
